Customer Service Specialist Temp to Perm (Remote)

Location: Remote | $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly Rate

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer / Consumer Services Specialist (Remote). This is a Temp to Perm opportunity. Monday – Friday standard business hours. Temp rate will be $20.00 - $23.00 hourly. The CS Specialist will provide exceptional customer care and ensure a positive experience for consumers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing and successful consumer products company.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact and assist customers via telephone, email, and/or online chat
  • Provide support and information on products and/or services
  • Engage consumers, provide support and create a positive shopping experience
  • Present all information in a positive, conversational, and compassionate manner to develop relationships with consumers
  • Answer inbound calls from consumers in a prompt and professional manner
  • Provide technical assistance to consumers for multiple product collections
  • Field consumer questions and complaints; escalate as needed
  • Display a strong customer focus, awareness, and sensitivity with the ability to gain trust and respect of colleagues and consumers
  • Make appropriate decisions and exhibit sound judgment based on information provided
  • Review warranty claims to determine if replacement is necessary
  • Create, update and take payments for manual orders
  • Communicate with global consumer service counterparts as necessary
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding challenges, consumer concerns and/or product trends
  • Perform other related duties / projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite-Basic Excel and math skills are required
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Must be able to work efficiently and able to meet all KPIs
