Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face helping customers at our centers. You will assist with rentals, manage inventory using U-Scan, and ensure equipment is safe and ready for use.

The role includes performing equipment inspections, driving forklifts (certifications offered), installing hitches, and participating in U-Haul education. Eligible employees may receive bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to assist customers and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot and check fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
• Other duties as assigned.
