As a Customer Service Specialist, you will support key strategic hyperscale and AI-driven customer programs through key Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners. This newly created position reflects the continued growth of Molex's AI and hyperscale business and offers the opportunity to support some of the industry's most important technology customers. You will serve as a critical link between customers, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and business teams to ensure successful order execution, proactive communication, and effective issue resolution.

Our Team

Our customer service division is at the heart of our operations, partnering closely with customers, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and business teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business results.

This newly created role supports the continued growth of Molex's hyperscale and AI-related business. Working with global teams and strategic EMS partners, you will help support leading technology and cloud infrastructure customers while solving complex supply chain and customer challenges. This is an opportunity to create value for customers and Molex while contributing to one of our fastest-growing market segments.

What You Will Do

  • Support the order management process, including pre- and post-order activities such as order entry, order maintenance, expedites, customer inquiries, new product introduction (NPI) activities, and escalations.
  • Monitor customer demand, forecasting, order activity, and operational metrics to identify potential risks and drive resolution before customer impact occurs.
  • Manage customer portals and ensure timely updates regarding order status, supply availability, demand changes, and business-critical issues.
  • Drive shared ownership across sales, planning, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams to align customer requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Lead coordination efforts for customer escalations by gathering information, facilitating cross-functional action plans, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with global teams and utilize reporting tools, business systems, and customer data to support customer requirements, business continuity, and informed decision‑making.
  • Understand customer contracts, service expectations, and business requirements to ensure successful execution of account strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying gaps, challenging existing processes, and implementing innovative solutions that improve efficiency and deliver better business outcomes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated success supporting customer accounts, order management, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related business operations through employment, internships, cooperative education programs, or other relevant settings.
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, to support business activities and customer needs.
  • Track record of effectively managing multiple priorities, customer requests, or business activities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success communicating with internal and external stakeholders about business issues, order status, customer inquiries, or operational matters.
  • Experience analyzing information, investigating issues, and coordinating resolution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, proactively seek feedback, and pursue opportunities for self‑development and team growth.
  • High school diploma, GED, or higher education credential.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Three (3) or more years of experience supporting customer accounts, order management, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or related operations, preferably in electronics, EMS, or technology.
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM platforms, plus intermediate or advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
  • Familiarity with supporting new product introductions (NPI) or product launches.
  • Exposure in managing customer portals, reviewing demand forecasts, and supporting global customers, subcontractors, or complex supply chain networks.
  • Proficiency in using reporting, analytics, or process‑monitoring tools to identify risks and improve customer outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
