Hours:

24 hrs/week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Summary:
  • Provides complete and accurate patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, ordering tests, and coordinating services. Communicates effectively during high volumes or with complex patients.
Responsibilities include:
  • Performing patient registration, supporting inbound/outbound calls, managing patient complaints, supporting point of service collections, verifying insurance, preparing and releasing records, and completing documentation for compliance.
  • Supporting regional travel and onboarding at new sites, assisting with specimen collection, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience in a customer-oriented environment
  • Experience with basic computer use and office equipment
  • For regional positions, valid driver's license
  • Experience with registration, point of service collection, insurance validation, and revenue cycle in a hospital or medical office setting
  • Previous Epic EMR experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to focus on specific stimuli, process verbal information, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, adapt to changing duties, communicate effectively, and maintain interpersonal relationships.
Credentials:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED required
