Job description

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Hourly Rate: $20 ‒ $24

Department: Administration

ISG is seeking a confident, outgoing, professional, and organized individual with multitasking abilities to join our growing team. The Customer Service Representative will work remotely with company-provided equipment in a fast-paced environment, handling policyholder inquiries via phone and email related to due date extensions, document requirements for audits, indexing documents, and providing clerical support as needed.

General Accountabilities:
  1. Answer incoming calls and support or direct calls to appropriate staff.
  2. Make outbound calls to request documents from customers.
  3. Return voicemail messages and support or direct calls accordingly.
  4. Answer basic questions from policyholders and agents about the audit and verification processes.
  5. Provide reasonable due date extensions for policyholders and agents.
  6. Review and analyze incoming emails, submissions, and reports, then distribute them to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Index documentation into the internal electronic filing system.
  8. Assist in updating contact information for policyholders or agents as needed.
  9. Provide clerical support to other departments.
  10. *The company reserves the right to modify duties as needed.
Job Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in commercial underwriting or premium audits
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required
  • Ability to work independently in a distraction-free, remote environment
  • Spanish language skills preferred
