Position Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is critical in providing excellent front-line support to our patients, clients, and clinical staff. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, highly organized, and passionate about helping others in the behavioral health field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and inquiries.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, appointments, and general questions.
  • Assist patients and clients with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
  • Document and update client records accurately in our internal systems.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure timely communication and support.
  • Address and resolve client concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Follow up on inquiries and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or healthcare-related coursework preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic, patient-focused, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
