Job summary

Public Storage is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Property Managers across multiple locations. Earn $19.50 per hour with flexible, full-time schedules between 9:30am and 6pm, weekends until 5pm.

Responsibilities include assessing customer storage needs, selling packing supplies, performing daily inspections, handling cash and deposits, and traveling between properties with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates come from customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
• Valid driver’s license and use of own vehicle to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and suggest packing/moving supplies.
• Sell packing and moving supplies to customers.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily duties.
• Keep customers current with payments and make reminder/collection calls when required.

• We help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Our property managers should be able to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintain exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris.

Experience

Transportation

Our employees are required to have a valid driver’s license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business. (mileage reimbursement available)
