Job summary

Capital Bank is seeking an in-person Teller/Deposit Services Associate at the Church Street Branch in Rockville, MD. You will process transactions, open/modify accounts, and resolve issues while delivering exemplary service.

You will support cross-selling, work with Relationship Managers, and participate in marketing campaigns. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• One year of college education or equivalent work experience.
• One year of experience in a cash handling position; preferably as a Teller in a Bank or Credit Union.
• Detail oriented.
• Commitment to the delivery of superior customer service.
• Ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people in a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems and use sound judgement.
• Strong interest in building a career in the Financial Services Industry.
• Willingness to work at other locations when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing deposit accounts, including processing transactions, opening new accounts, and researching issues.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through the delivery of superior service.
• Follow bank policies and procedures in all tasks.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Commercial Lenders, and Treasury Management Specialists to establish new deposit accounts and services.
• Support marketing campaigns and outbound calling activities.

Position Purpose

Compensation

• Base Salary Range: $18.39 -$24.03 hourly. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
• Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual target bonus based on individual performance.

• This role is an in-person position for our Church Street Branch location.
