About The Role

The Customer Service Representative Lead will serve as a primary point of contact for Medicaid-eligible consumers in Salt Lake County, assisting with inquiries about behavioral health providers and Medicaid benefit plans. This full-time remote position requires flexibility to work varied shifts and occasional overtime. The role includes on-the-job training and ongoing support to help you succeed and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls regarding Salt Lake County Behavioral Health Providers and Medicaid benefit plans
  • Research and provide referrals to appropriate providers and agencies
  • Verify Medicaid eligibility using company systems
  • Direct callers to correct contacts when they have reached the wrong organization
  • Complete administrative tasks supporting the Care Coordination team as assigned
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and accuracy

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience in insurance, medical, behavioral health, or financial technology fields
  • Proficiency with Windows PC applications and ability to learn complex computer systems
  • Flexibility to work full-time shifts Sunday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST (October–March), and Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST (April–September), including occasional overtime
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
  • Preferred: experience with financial health technology
