Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an outdoor, on-site role at our airport rental lots. You will assist customers during the rental and return process, check vehicles, and use handheld devices to enter data, delivering friendly service.

The position features $17.25/hour base plus a monthly commission opportunity, with shift premium may apply. A fast-paced, customer-focused environment and active outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry).
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors.
• Flexible to work all shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site presence required; cannot be remote.
• 6 months retail customer service experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the rental/return process on airport lots.
• Check cars and enter information in handheld devices.
• Process rentals for loyalty customers and assist customers at exit gates.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the process.

What You’ll Do:

This is an outdoor combination role, where you will assist customers in different parts of the rental or return process on our airport lots. This may include, depending on location, checking cars, entering information in a handheld device, processing rentals of our loyalty customers, assisting customers at our exit gates or checking-in our cars at return, while providing excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be able to type, sit, stand, walk or move throughout rental lot and enter/exit vehicles for prolonged periods and drive a variety of vehicles
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months retail customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus!
