Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking an outdoor, customer-focused associate at our airport location. You’ll help customers through the rental and return process on the lot, check vehicles, and use a handheld device to enter information.

This role blends active work with great service and the chance to connect with travelers at all hours. We offer competitive pay at $16.00 per hour, a monthly commission opportunity, shift premium, on-the-job training, and benefits including PTO,

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry).
• Effective verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and stay active.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout various parts of the rental and return process on airport lots.
• Check vehicles, enter information into a handheld device, and process rentals for loyalty customers.
• Assist customers at exit gates and check in vehicles at return.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service to help ensure a smooth, efficient experience for every customer.
