Great American's Strategic Comp division is currently seeking a
Customer Service Representative to support our growing Premium Audit Team. This is a fully remote work from home role.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Researches and resolves simple concerns and inquiries in real time for customers and policyholders.
- Learns the best method to resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization's policies. Coordinates problem resolution with necessary teams and refers more complex issues to more experienced staff.
- Becomes familiar with utilizing a customer-focused, needs-based review process to inform customers about products or services.
- Documents and updates customer records based on interactions.
- Works within guidance to arrange and prioritize activities to efficiently meet business objectives, while focusing on continuous process improvement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Learns to make methodical yet swift decisions to meet customer needs.
- Develops knowledge of insurance products, documents, and industry practices.
- Working customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Develops communication skills that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of various customers.
Job Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Experience
- Customer service assistant or related internship experience with an insurance carrier or agency is required.
- Workers' Compensation or Property & Casualty lines experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary - Requires prolonged sitting, continuous use of computer.
- Occasional Travel - Requires occasional travel (1 to 4 times per year) to departmental meetings and training sessions. May include overnight travel.
