Join to apply for the Customer Service Representative - Patient Registration role at R1 RCM

Location: Ascension St. John Hospital Health Center - Chesterfield

Shift: PRN, part-time, on-call 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Week 1: Monday and Saturday

Week 2: Sunday and Friday

As a Customer Service Representative, you will assist patients during hospital check-in, answer questions, and build trust through compassionate listening. No healthcare experience is required; we will train you. You must be up-to-date on vaccinations, pass a drug test, and a background check.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Handling patient check-in via computer and phone, managing multiple screens, and working efficiently in a busy environment.
  2. Providing compassionate support to patients, addressing their fears and concerns.
  3. Working on your feet in a fast-paced setting, collecting and inputting patient and insurance information accurately.
  4. Being part of a supportive team and starting your healthcare career with us.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service skills

The pay range is $14.69 - $20.28 per hour, based on role, experience, and location. We offer opportunities for growth, learning, and community impact, along with a competitive benefits package.
