Responsibilities
  • Respond to patient and guarantor inquiries regarding billing issues, including payer denials and demographic updates

  • Maintain high standards of customer service while effectively managing communications through calls, emails, and correspondence

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service or collections in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required
  • Knowledge of Epic billing systems preferred
  • Associates Degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical billing and insurance processing
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex inquiries independently
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
  • Prior experience in a call center environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
