R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Part-time PRN Customer Service Representative for Patient Registration at Intermountain St. George Regional Hospital.

You will be the first point of contact, ensuring fast, compassionate access to care while coordinating across systems. Responsibilities include guiding patients through check-in, collecting accurate information, answering phones, assisting with insurance details and co-pays, and supporting care teams to maintain smooth patient flow.

Schedule: Part-time PRN (as needed), minimum 48 hours a month, 24 hours on call

As a Customer Service Representative - Patient Registration you will be the first point of contact for patients , ensuring they receive fast, compassionate, and accurate access to care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process working across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently


• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment


• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion


• Build trust with patients during moments when they may be ill, anxious, confused, or overwhelmed


• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details, enter demographics and medical data, collect co-pays and provide cost estimates when applicable


• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $17.60 - $25.25 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
