OMNI ACQUISITION CORP is seeking a versatile associate to provide assembly, shipping and customer service support. You will assemble products using hand tools and rivets, package items, process orders and arrange pickups while assisting customers with information or issues.
You’ll use order management systems and basic EDI tools, verify pricing and customer data, and help with returns according to policy. A high school diploma and MS Office skills are required; safety and teamwork are essential.
Description
Provides all necessary support in assembly, shipping and customer service as directed. Assists in assembling products using hand tools and riveting machinery, product packaging, shipping and arranging pickups, as well as support for customers in placing orders, seeking information, or resolving problems.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Strong personal computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications. Customer service experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
