Job summary

Somerset Trust Company in Meyersdale, PA seeks an applicant who is friendly and reliable to provide exceptional customer service in banking operations. This role involves notifying and locating customers with delinquent accounts and securing payment following proper procedures.

The position includes opening new accounts, teller duties as needed, and supporting branch management while upholding WE Statements and service standards.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports; speak before groups.

Education and/or Experience

Technical Skills

Displays an eagerness & ability to learn, efficiently use the technology provided, and is receptive to new ideas.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problem involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
