Role Summary

The Loan Consultant II provides exceptional customer service while offering personal loan solutions. The role involves building a customer base through sales, loan extensions, and referrals. Success is measured by customer experience, business generation, compliance, goal attainment, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and solicit individuals in the office and via phone; process credit and employment verifications.
• Handle payments, distributions, and make loan approval recommendations.
• Approve loans within lending limits and complete closings.
• Manage collection account activities, including calls and face-to-face communications.
• Prepare reports, documentation, operate cash drawer, and maintain records.
• Market branch products and services actively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-4+ years of consumer finance or related experience.
• Cash handling, computer skills, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Compensation

• Hourly wage: $20.00 - $24.00, based on experience and skills.
• Eligible for quarterly incentives based on performance.
