Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm EST

What are we looking for?

The Customer Service Representative II responds to customer service inquiries including, but not limited to, benefit information and timely fulfillment of requests for Versant Health Membership, Providers and Client Representatives. Acting as a liaison with internal and external Versant Health business partners to provide an exceptional customer service experience.

Where you will have an impact
  • Responsible for providing exceptional customer service while answering incoming member and provider telephone inquiries in a manner that is always respectful and courteous.
  • Must successfully perform all general duties required in CSR I role.
  • Proficient use of systems to respond to customer inquiries and requests adhering to defined customer service standards.
  • Individual telephone quality must meet or exceed 96%.
  • Cross-train in additional CSR II disciplines.
  • Associate performance must be in good standing (No performance warnings).
  • Required knowledge of multiple products and ability to deepen or retain relationships through customer service.
  • Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within departmental requirements.
  • Regular reliable attendance is required.
  • As required by changing business needs, complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What’s necessary to do the job?
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
