What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Handle customer service activities related to self-pay and insurance billing inquiries as part of the revenue cycle process
  • Assist patients in resolving billing issues, including setting up payment plans and responding to inquiries
  • Document customer complaints, interactions, and actions taken in appropriate systems
  • Track trends in customer service encounters and recommend resolutions to the supervisor
  • Communicate and follow up on customer service activities to ensure timely reporting to stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least one (1) year of experience in revenue cycle functions within a healthcare setting
  • Previous service/call center experience with strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
