Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher in Austin, TX to join our residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical team. You will handle inbound inquiries, coordinate between customers and technicians, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records while processing payments.

The role requires at least 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting is required.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office is a requirement.
• Service Titan experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Fox Service Company is looking for a dynamic-Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to join a thriving business that believes in work life balance and cares about YOU!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Answer incoming customer requests and inquiries in a professional & friendly manner
• Act as a liaison between customers, technicians, salespersons & management
• Schedule service and routine maintenance appointments
• Maintain & update customer records based on interactions
• Process invoice payments
• Provide information about products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns
• Develop & maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products & services that benefit our customers
• Participate in in-house training on products & services needed by our customers& office software required to fulfill this position
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• $18 - $22 / hr
• Monday - Friday 9a - 6p and Saturday - Sunday 8a - 5p (rotating weekends)
• Minimum of 1-year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting is required
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office is a required
• Service Titan is a plus
• Ability to easily cultivate strong rapport with customers and co-workers
• Find it rewarding to organize, prioritize and manage time effectively to see a task through to completion
• Work well independently & with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment
• Enjoy patiently, empathetically helping others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The physical requirements of this job include:

• Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual work station or office
• Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
• Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.
