Position Summary: The responsibilities of the CSR/Cashier include, but are not limited to ensuring superior customer service, greeting customers, answering questions, assist in pricing and moving donations & stock to sales floor, and performing the tasks of the cashier for sales transactions.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

• Greet customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently as cashier.
• Assist with pricing merchandise as needed.
• Maintain general cleanliness and organization throughout assigned areas.
• Process, price, and stock merchandise on the sales floor.
• Keep the cashier area behind the counter clean, neat, and well organized.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each business day.
• Assist ReStore Manager or designee with daily closing procedures and preparation of cash drawers for the next business day.
• Complete assigned task lists accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate effectively with the Volunteer Coordinator.
• Direct customers, donors, and volunteers to the appropriate resources or staff members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Graduate/GED with some relevant experience preferred
• 2+ years of retail management experience
• Ability to operate Point of Sale and support software
