Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Chantilly, VA is seeking a full-time Laboratory Operations role in a hybrid (in-office/remote) environment. The position offers a 9:00am-5:30pm schedule, with Saturdays as needed, and benefits eligible.

The candidate will handle calls from physicians, patients and staff about test results, orders and billing, while maintaining exceptional service and accuracy. The role emphasizes research, problem-solving, and independent teamwork in a fast-paced setting,

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong computer literacy with good typing skills.
• Excellent research, problem solving and follow up skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing problems.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls from physicians, patients and internal staff regarding test results, supply orders, test verifications, name changes, billing adjustments and other miscellaneous information
• Demonstrate excellent research, problem solving and follow up skills
• Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing problems
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills both with internal and external client
• Complete special projects and assist team members with various customer service tasks as needed

LOCATION: 4200B Pleasant Valley Rd., Chantilly, VA 20151

Hybrid (in office/remote)

HOURS: 9:00am-5:30pm; Monday to Friday (Saturday's as needed)

FULL TIME: Benefits eligible

In this role you will:

• Receive calls from physicians, patients and internal staff regarding test results, supply orders, test verifications, name changes, billing adjustments and other miscellaneous information
• Demonstrate excellent research, problem solving and follow up skills
• Troubleshoot and resolve ongoing problems
• Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills both with internal and external client
