Job summary

MCC, a global leader in premium labels, is seeking a Customer Service professional to support assigned customers, coordinate their orders, and provide accurate, timely information about purchases and shipments.

You will work closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, and Sales to move orders through entry to shipment, investigate customer needs beyond the initial question, and communicate proactively to ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or call center preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, proactive communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to assigned customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for order and shipment information.
• Manage orders from entry through shipment with internal teams to ensure smooth flow.

• Communicate proactively with customers; provide updates and set expectations.
• Develop a deep understanding of MCC’s products and service model.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality, Sales to keep orders on track.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring they receive accurate, timely information about their purchase orders and shipments.
• Manage each order from entry through shipment, partnering closely with internal teams to ensure everything moves through the process smoothly.
• Investigate customer needs and look beyond the immediate question to understand the bigger picture and provide the best possible solution.
• Communicate proactively—providing updates, resolving issues quickly, and helping customers anticipate next steps.
• Develop a strong understanding of MCC’s products, manufacturing processes, systems, and service model.
• Support Collaboration Across the Plant (includes all GRE - Radius item creation, WebCenter proofing and proof distribution, submitting RFQs to Estimating for existing work)
• Work closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, Sales, and other teams to keep orders on track and customers informed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and assist teammates as needed to meet plant goals.
• Recognize differing perspectives and adapt your communication and approach to support productive teamwork.

• Accuracy: Correct and complete entry of orders and releases.
• Volume: Efficient processing of order volumes within expected timelines.
• Timeliness: Prompt execution of all order and release activities to ensure customer expectations are met.
