Performance Food Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Louisiana to assist customers with order entries and inquiries, ensuring satisfaction as their distributor. The role involves fast, accurate communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner.
Responsibilities include processing orders, credits, invoicing, and supporting customers through the online portal, with attendance at training and meetings as required.
Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.
The primary role of the Customer Service representative (CSR) is responsible for assisting all customers with order entries and any inquiries regarding the company's product and services. In addition, they are responsible for keeping all customers satisfied and happy with the company as their distributor and to accommodate them as best possible. Interact with customer to address their concerns and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers in a professional manner. Ensures all questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience Required
1 - 3 Years Customer service, call center and / or related area within foodservice industry Preferred
