Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a Customer Service Representative to process quotations, purchase orders, and work orders with accuracy, while delivering courteous responses to customer inquiries. Expect to grow sales from current customers and assist with new business prospecting.

The role requires data entry into Oracle, coordination of schedules and deliveries across plants, product knowledge, and strong communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of construction products sales experience are a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Previous roofing experience is a plus.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to facilitate quality and accurate Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Work Orders to ensure customer expectations are exceeded as well as prompt, courteous and professional responses to customer requests. The Customer Service Representative tasked with maintaining and growing the level of sales from current active and past non-active customers, and is able and willing to prospect new business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Data entry and accuracy being measured for orders into Oracle

Scheduling/delivery coordinating for multiple plant sites

Product knowledge, answering questions for customer support

Responsible for claims & account reconciliation and transactions

Responsible for timely communication back to appropriate function

Accepting inbound calls to assist with basic customer needs

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills:

Must have high math aptitude to calculate Sq Footage,to assist customers when ordering

Must have ability to multi-task, with high level of organization skills

Must havethe abilityto learn, comprehend, and apply training as well as use best judgement for case-by-case scenarios

Ability to make proactive decisions based on customer needs

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

Projectmanagement and negotiationskills

Strong oral and written communication skills are required

Ability to read building drawings

Education/AdditionalInformation:

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $20-$25/hour+ medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

(Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
