Job summary

The Outlets at San Clemente is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to ensure a positive shopping experience for employees and shoppers. This weekend-only role requires a friendly, proactive individual to assist customers, tenants, and guests with information and directions.

On-site position with benefits including PTO and health coverage; will also support marketing with events and traffic reports, and handle guest services like lost & found and gift cards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Office and social media tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Opens the Customer Service area on time and maintains the log.
• Assist customers and tenants with information, store locations, hours, directions, and event info.
• Circulate memos and correspondence to tenants.
• Support Marketing with traffic reports, events, group sales, sponsorships and stock promotional material.
• Maintain stroller/wheelchair rentals and log book.
• Manage lost and found inventory with security.
• Handle after-hours tenant log and security notifications.
• Process gift card requests.
• Collect customer complaint forms and distribute to General Manager.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE OUTLETS AT SAN CLEMENTE

Shop 60+ big brands at The Outlets at San Clemente in a stunning, Spanish-style village overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Southern California. Orange County's first and only coastal outlet shopping experience, conveniently situated between Los Angeles and San Diego.

The Outlets at San Clemente is currently hiring a Part-TimeCustomer Service Representatives who will take initiative to ensure a positive shopping experience for our employees and shoppers. This position will only work weekends.

Full-time benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and 401k.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures Customer Service area is opened timely (opening time may vary by center location)
• Assist all customers and tenants phone or in person with general information, store locations, directions, business hours, transportation info. Special event info.
• Circulates memos, newsletters, and other correspondence to tenants.
• Assist the Marketing department with traffic reports, special events, group sales, sponsorships and ensures brochures/directories/promotional material is stocked at the counter.
• Maintain stroller/wheelchair rentals and log book.
• Maintain the log and inventory of all lost and found items in conjunction with the security department.
• Responsible for tenant after-hours log and security notification.
• Process gift card requests.
• Collects customer complaint forms and distributes to General Manager.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

NOTE:

This position may also provide shuttle service in the centers who offer this service. A valid Driver's License will be necessary.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
• 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
• Entry level experience using MS Office applications (for data entry, reports).
• Ability to conduct research using the various search engines on the Internet.
• Entry level experience using Social Media Networking applications.
