Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be a primary contact for customers, entering orders, handling requests, and delivering timely, courteous support. You will respond to calls and written inquiries and assist with product selection and application.

Coordinate orders including pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credits and claims. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with comprehensive benefits and employee ownership.

• Retail or counter sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls and written correspondence with timely follow-up.
• Assist in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Support product selection and application guidance.
• Coordinate orders including entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credits and claims.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as a key contact and liaison for customers to ensure their total satisfaction. You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, entering orders, handling requests and providing support needed in a timely, professional and courteous manner.

In this role you will:

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues
• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls
• Provide support on product selection and application
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims

Skills & Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred
• High School education
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred

Compensation Details:

The expected rate of pay for this position is $18.19 per hour - $23.43 per hour, depending on experience

Shift Hours and Schedule:

Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
