Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and handle incoming calls. You will enter orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-ins, quote products, and influence gross profit through pricing decisions.

Strong communication, reliability, and multi-tasking are essential as you coordinate between customers, branches, and suppliers to maintain inventory and expedit backorders. Company benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years related experience preferred or equivalent combination.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Respond to basic product inquiries, provide quotes, and process order entry.

• Negotiate sale price and purchase price within policy to influence gross profit.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.

SUMMARYUnder close supervision, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming customer calls.JOB DUTIESResponds to basic customer inquires regarding products, provides quotes, and handlesorder entry.Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in (countersales).Influences Motion Industries' gross profit through negotiating the sale price and purchaseprice, within certain parameters.May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet the demands of the customer based oncompetition, while maximizing the profit for Motion Industries.Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer anddrive process improvements.Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers.May place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 perpurchase order.Responsible for sourcing products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory orsupplier inventory.Determines the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders.Partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.Expedites backorders. May pull inventory and prepare order for shipment to customer.May handle customer returns.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCETypically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESReliability, organization, and attention to detail required.Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.Ability to multi-task and time management skills required.Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally andexternally via email, using business systems and searching capabilities to find productson the internet.Product knowledge is preferred.LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONSExcellent driving record preferred. All company vehicles are subject to continuous video monitoring.COMPENSATION$18.09 - $22.63 (hourly)Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
