Job summary

B&T USA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Service Team in Utah. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, providing product information, and resolving questions about products and services.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in customer support, strong communication skills, extensive firearms knowledge, and the ability to meet ATF requirements in a fast-paced office and warehouse setting. On-site work required.

Position Overview

B&T USA is seeking a Customer Service Rep to join our Service Team. As the Customer Service Representative, you would be the initial point of contact for any customer who has a question or an issue with a product or service the company sells. Responsibilities include answering inbound phone calls, providing product information and addressing customers’ questions about products and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of incoming service calls.
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
• Assure that established service and quality standards are met daily,
• Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

Required Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferably customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
• Previous experience in the firearms industry, preferably in a retail gun shop or similar environment.
• Extensive firearms knowledge required.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer oriented and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail, follow through and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Must meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
• Work performed in a fast-pacedoffice and warehouse environment.
• Must be able to access and navigate B&T’s facilities.

• Required to lift up to 15lbs unassisted.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
