Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level, contract-to-hire role based in Greenfield, WI. You will handle phone work, enter sales orders, verify insurance information, and ensure proper documentation for billing.

You will interact with clients, assist with OTC sales of soft goods, and dispense orders billed to insurance for medical equipment and related items. Responsibilities include unpacking shipments, basic equipment assembly, and data entry of patient demographics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble very basic equipment.

• Phone work

• Verifying insurance information
• Ensuring proper documentation is on file for billing purposes. Reviewing documentation to ensure we have accurately completed prescriptions and qualifying supporting chart notes necessary for billing. Also, following up to get that info from the physicians if we don't have it
• Direct client interaction
• OTC Sales of soft goods and accessories
• Dispensing orders billed to insurance for medical equipment and soft goods such as walkers, bath safety, mobility aids and orthopedic supports
• Patient instruction on all items dispensed
• Unpacking shipments - some shipments are on pallets. Should be able to lift 35 pounds
• Assembly of equipment - very basic
• Data entry of patient demographics

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
