Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the Store Operations team and deliver excellent customer experiences throughout loan/pawn cycles.

You will educate consumers on financial options, assist with payments and appointments, and participate in community events while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Professional demeanor with customers and peers expected.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance and own vehicle.
  • Proficiency with phone systems, POS and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of standing and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the loan or pawn cycle.
  • Assist in customer account management by accepting payments and scheduling appointments.
  • Leverage partnerships and referrals to meet performance standards and drive in-store events.
  • Develop relationships to build new business and brand loyalty.
  • Conduct vehicle appraisals using the provided assessment tool.
  • Enter and maintain customer data accurately in the POS system.
  • Uphold company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintain storefront security and cash handling procedures.
  • Work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members at all levels.
  • Maintain a full-time in-person schedule, including limited Saturdays.

Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will use your love for business, people, and the community coupled with your passion for customer service to build relationships. You will serve as a vital contributor to our Store Operations team and demonstrate your motivation by seizing learning and training opportunities to help launch your career. Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.

Assist in customer account management by accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.

Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and community events.

Develop customer relationships to build new business, maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition.

Conduct vehicle appraisals accurately using the assessment tool.

Enter and maintain customer information in the Point-of-Sale system with accuracy and integrity.

Uphold compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.

Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.

Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and Team Members at all levels.

Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including limited Saturday hours, is required for this position. A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40-hours per week.*

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with customers and peers
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
  • Proficiency in using phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands for this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing
  • Prior cash handling, cash drawer/vault management experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations
