Job summary

Graybar is seeking a customer service oriented professional in Des Moines, IA. You will ensure high-quality customer experiences, handle calls and written communications, actively sell Graybar goods on inbound inquiries, and assist with product selection and applications.

The role involves coordinating service requests such as orders, pricing, expediting, billing, credit and claims, with a focus on timely follow-up and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and tact in handling various customer situations.
• Ability to manage customer calls and written correspondence professionally and promptly.
• Some retail or counter sales experience is preferred.
• High School education is required; two- or four-year degree is preferred.

Compensation Details

The expected rate of pay for this position is $22.00 per hour

Shift Hours and Schedule

Monday through Friday - 7:30am to 4:30pm
