Job summary

Boxes, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage customer orders and coordinate with production to maintain workflow. You will handle multiple accounts, provide quotes, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining excellent communication with customers.

The role requires proficiency with Amtech, strong numerical and interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Some overtime and weekend hours may be required, with opportunities to develop cross-functional

  • Ensure timely delivery by coordinating with production and tracking due dates.

**Summary: **

The Customer Service Representative is instrumental in creating and managing customer orders, maintaining the work flow process through all of production, simultaneously handling multiple accounts, and staying in constant communication with all clients ensuring that the customer is always first.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enter orders received from multiple sales representatives and/or customers into Amtech system, coordinate with production scheduling of job, order stock sheets from suppliers and/or cutting dies/printing plates. Process purchase orders and coordinate accounting credits and assist in the process of billing. Provide quotes to customers on new orders. Work closely with Sales Dept., Customers and Design Dept. on all new items and ensure their accuracy.Monitor inventory levels of Warehouse items, stock boxes, etc.Supply customers with samples and respond to their concerns and questions and maintain customer files. Confers with plant production personnel to select machines for possible use in manufacturing boxes. Reads tables to estimate cost of each production operation.Determines positions of pattern on blank (paperboard sheet) to minimize waste and facilitate operations on machines. Calculates total material to be used and total material cost, using calculator and considering quantity, quality, and style of box, packaging, and delivery rates. Establish delivery time and tracking and ensure that due dates are met. Estimates cost of manufacturing boxes made from other types of materials. Works closely with customer to ensure quality of the project.Adherence to company policies, including its attendance is essential.

Education and/or Experience

College Degree or equivalent; or two to five years related experience in the industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Amtech software; Internet Explorer Internet software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
