Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking friendly Customer Service Representatives to be the first voice customers hear when placing meal orders. This role offers Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm shifts with potential overtime, a starting wage of $17.00 per hour, and benefits after 30 days. Location: Ankeny, IA, with occasional pre-employment checks.

You will handle calls, input orders, and document interactions while upholding HIPAA guidelines and company policies. Weekly pay and a full benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED.
• 1 year of previous customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using work-related software.
• Clear oral communication skills.
• Ability to deescalate situations and resolve customer complaints.
• Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values.
• 1 year of call center experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems, Outlook, Teams preferred.
• HIPAA policies experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with clients placing their meal order.
• Address questions and provide exceptional customer service.
• Input order information into the client order screen.
• Document conversations with clients in the client information database.
• Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file.
• Contact case managers by telephone, email, and/or fax for special situations.
• Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed.

Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is looking for upbeat, people-first individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives. The starting wage is $17.00/hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits available after 30 days of employment.

Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with the potential for overtime starting at 7:00am.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order
• Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service

• Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed

Required Skills & Experience

• High school degree or GED
• 1 year of previous customer service experience
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting
• Clear oral communication skills
• Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints
• Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 1 year of previous call center experience
• Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams
• Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
