Job summary

OPW, part of Dover Corporation, is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Allentown, PA to manage inquiries, support sales, and promote products. This onsite role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a customer-focused approach in a manufacturing environment.

You will handle quotes, orders, and follow-ups, coordinate internal processes, and contribute to customer retention while participating in department meetings and collaborating with the sales team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate required; or equivalent work experience considered
• 3+ years in customer service and inside sales in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of compressed gas products is beneficial
• Caelus or other ERP experience is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook and Excel)
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Process customer inquiries via email, phone, or other means in a timely, accurate and professional manner
• Support the sales team to ensure quotes and orders are accurate and complete
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and promote company products and services
• Respond to customer inquiries and handle concerns/complaints
• Attend regular customer service meetings
• Coordinate and manage follow-ups on quotations, proposals, and inquiries
• Identify new sales opportunities within medical, specialty gas, fillplants and industrial markets
• Follow up on new leads identified by management
• Assist in retaining the customer base
• Provide back-up support to other sales/customer service members

Required:

• Process customer inquiries/communications via email, phone, or other means ina timely,accurate, and professional manner.

• Respondtimelyand effectively to customer inquiries and when necessary to customer concerns/complaints.
• Attend regular customer service departmental meetings.
• Coordinate and manage in-house follow-ups on pending quotations, proposals, and customer inquiries.
• Identifynew salesopportunities within the medical, specialty gas, fillplantsand industrial markets for Superior’s product lines.
• Follow-upon new customerleads asidentifiedby management.
• Responsible for actively ensuring customer base retention.
• Provide back-up support to other sales/customer service members

RequiredExperience:

• Associates degree or certificaterequired; or in lieu of a degree, years of experience will be considered.
• 3+ years’ experience providing exceptional customer service and inside sales in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of compressed gas products is highly beneficial.
• Caelus or other ERP systems experience a plus
• Proficiencyin all MS Office skills – particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task,prioritizeand work well under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly motivated team player with a passion to succeed.
• High degree of energy, initiative, and integrity
