Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Idaho is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with products and services at the center or on-site. You will use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and supervise equipment inspection.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with certifications offered for propane filling and forklift operation. Training is provided through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside U-Haul centers with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers; inspect equipment on the lot.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment return from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; fill propane (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
