What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide timely and accurate laboratory results
- Develop and maintain relationships through proactive communication and problem resolution
- Assist clients with inquiries regarding test statuses, requirements, and specimen handling
- Document all client interactions and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary
- Support and orient new staff members while assisting with various departmental projects
What is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma required
- 1-2 years of related experience in a customer service or medical/laboratory setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Prior experience in a call center and/or with multi-line phone systems
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and sit for extended periods
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in a medical or laboratory customer service role
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and technical issues
- Ability to mentor junior staff and provide support in complex situations
