Job Duties
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands
- Standing: Most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 48".
- Walking: Generally short distances for short durations.
- Delivery: Must travel between store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to customer’s location.
- Sitting: Paperwork normally completed at desk or table.
- Lifting: Bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more. Unloaded by hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs, dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'. Cases stacked up to 72" high.
- Carrying: Large cans (≈3.75 lbs) carried from workstation to storage shelves. Occasionally pizza sauce (≈30 lbs) carried from storage to front of store. Trays of pizza dough carried three at a time (≈12 lbs per tray).
- Driving: Deliver pizzas within designated delivery area. May make several deliveries per shift.
- Pushing & Pulling: Trays on dollies (24–30") require up to 7.5 lbs force to push.
- Climbing: Occasionally navigate stairs or ladder to change prices, wash walls, perform maintenance. Delivery may require navigation of five or more flights of stairs.
- Bending: Forward bending at waist near pizza assembly station (~40–45 sec continuously). Bending also possible at front counter when stocking ingredients.
- Crouching / Squatting: Occasionally stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching: Continuously reach up, down, and forward. Reach above 72" to turn on/off oven controls, change price signs, lift/lower objects to/from shelves.
- Hand tasks: Eye‑hand coordination continuous. Frequent use of forearms and wrists. Manipulate pizza peel, rolling cutter, assemble cardboard pizza boxes. Must grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, pizza boxes.
Tools & Equipment
Team members may use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
