Job summary

Valto, Inc in Channahon, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage orders and support the Inside Sales team. This role requires fluency in English and Spanish, and reports to the Customer Service Manager.

The position is full-time in an office setting with a pay range of $40K–$60K. The successful candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in customer service, an associate’s degree or higher, and strong CRM/software skills including AS400 and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent customer service experience may be considered.
• Previous customer service, order management, sales support, account management, or administrative experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills required to support Spanish-speaking customers, ensure clear communication, and build relationships.
• Experience with CRM systems, order entry systems, Microsoft Office applications; AS400 and Salesforce preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Accurately process orders, pricing requests, quotations, and account information; ensure timely entry and management.
• Communicate product information, pricing, availability, and guidance to help customers make informed decisions.
• Monitor order fulfillment, shipment status, and delivery performance; keep customers informed throughout the order lifecycle.
• Maintain customer data, records, documentation, electronic orders, and CRM information with accuracy and organization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Shipping, and other departments to resolve concerns and improve processes.

Who We Are Looking For

Valto is searching for a Customer Service Representative to be based out of Channahon, IL, who is fluent in speaking, reading, writing in Spanish. Reporting to Customer Service Manager, this person will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to customers by managing orders, responding to inquiries, communicating product information, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from order entry through delivery. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, operations, and internal departments to ensure customer needs are met accurately, efficiently, and professionally.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–7 years of customer service experience and a minimum of an associate’s degree in business or a related field. We are seeking someone who will not only provide exceptional customer support, but also take ownership, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, and collaborate across teams to strengthen processes and drive meaningful business results.
