Responsibilities
  • Handle and resolve incoming customer inquiries and concerns, providing patients/guarantors from hospitals and physician practices with a seamless experience.
  • Follow up on and collect outstanding guarantor balances via outbound calls.
  • Provide financial counseling resources to physician's offices, hospitals, and patients/guarantors as needed.
  • Report to the Director of Customer Service.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of related healthcare experience.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and phone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bad Debt collections practices and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
  • Experience with Epic Resolute Hospital and Professional Billing and Epic SBO.
  • Understanding of hospital and professional billing practices.
  • Experience with Cisco Unified Contact Center is a plus.
