Job summary

Transcat in Ogden, UT is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to act as a conduit between operations, sales and the customer, mainly supporting tickets, requests, lead escalation, quotes and status updates.

The role requires clear communication, ability to multitask, and independent decision making with minimal supervision; responsibilities include processing orders, providing estimates, coordinating pickups, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Controls order processing workflow in the D&W system and logs data.
• Call customers with estimates and obtain purchase order numbers.
• Advise customers of status and/or completion dates of repair and calibration; call customers for pick-up.
• Answer customer questions regarding billings, delivery, ship dates, etc.
• Relay general technical information to customers.
• Generate purchase orders for parts and outside services as needed.
• Maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date department files and records.
• Enter data accurately and on a timely basis.
• Prepare customer paperwork for shipments and coordinate pickups/deliveries.
• Assist in shipping/receiving as required.
