Job summary

Carlie C's IGA in Smithfield, NC seeks a self-motivated Customer Service Manager to lead frontline teams in a busy retail environment. You will focus on prompt, friendly service while maintaining cash handling accuracy and store presentation.

Responsibilities include cash and coupon handling, processing lottery and money services, scheduling, training staff, and opening/closing duties as Manager on Duty. Prior experience is preferred.

• Time manage multiple employees including scheduling, breaks and lunches.
• Keep front end of the store clean and presentable.
• Train and enforce Uniform Policy among subordinates.
• Train baggers to bag groceries properly.
• Open/Close store as Manager on Duty when required.

Carlie C's IGA is seeking a self motivated individual who possesses experience in Customer Service Management in a busy retail environment. A Customer Service Manager at Carlie C’s IGA realizes that providing prompt and friendly customer service is priority #1. Being courteous and cooperative with both the customer and coworker is a critical aspect of maximizing sales and building business for years to come.

Responsibilities

• Follow Carlie C’s procedures in handling cash, checks, coupons, gift certificates, food stamps and WIC vouchers.
• Maintain correct cash flow.
• Service customer's need(s) with a smile.
• Effectively and promptly process the sales of Lottery Tickets, Money Orders, Money Transfers, Bill Pay, etc.
• Time manage multiple number of employees to include scheduling, adequate breaks and lunch hours.
• Keep front end of the store clean and professional in regards to counters, registers, and floors.
• Train and maintain the Uniform Policy among all subordinates.
• Train baggers to properly bag groceries according to Carlie C's bagging policies.
• Open/Close store as Manager on Duty when required.
• Other small tasks associated with the daily operations may be asked of you, as a Customer Service Manager.
