One United in Compton is seeking a Retail Branch Supervisor to oversee daily operations, including managing staff and security, while ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The role entails training staff, direct interaction with customers, and responsibility for branch performance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of banking experience, with strong leadership and sales skills. This position offers an opportunity to drive branch success and develop a team focused on customer service excellence.
Supervise the day to day operations of the retail store including security, customer service, cash operations, ATM services, new accounts, and teller transactions while ensuring compliance with the CTR and MIL requirements of BSA. Manage the staffing schedule, cash needs of the branch, and provide customer service on a variety of relatively complex transactions; opening of savings and checking accounts, handling customer basic questions. Cross-sell existing deposit products individually and through retail staff. Participate in the referral of real estate loans and acceptance of credit card applications. Responsible for accurate and timely filing of all currency transaction reports for cash transactions over $10,000. Responsible for the opening and management of the branch during Branch Manager absence. Train the staff on basic job functions, utilizing In-Branch training for new hire training and reinforcing knowledge and tools implemented through compliance and retail training. May represent the Bank in community/economic development activities and initiatives. Proficient in Insight system, teller capture and basic business software.
Associate’s Degree or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of banking experience which includes some time in a leadership role. Proven sales and leadership skills.
