You will work as part of a supportive team, representing U-Haul's exceptional service, assisting customers with equipment inspection, maintenance, and using technology to dispatch and return equipment. This role offers on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
• Manage rentals and inventory using smartphone-based U-Scan technology
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Inspect and clean equipment, check fluid levels
• Educate customers about products and services
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns
• Install hitches and trailer wiring
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment)
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment)
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in continuous education through U-Haul University

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

Moderate risks or discomforts requiring safety precautions, including working around moving parts, fumes, or chemicals. Protective gear may be necessary.

Physical Demands:

Physical exertion including standing for long periods, moving indoors and outdoors, reaching at heights, and lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted.
