U-Haul is seeking a customer service representative to assist customers with their moving needs at our Havertown center. You will engage with clients, manage rentals using our U-Scan technology, and ensure equipment is in top condition. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services
- Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment
- Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing U-Haul education and training
- Ability to work in a moderate-risk environment requiring special safety precautions

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with rental equipment and services
- Ability to drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
- Willingness to obtain certification for filling propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
