Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Apple Valley, CA to help customers with U-Haul products and services, manage rentals with U-Scan, and assist with moving and hooking up trucks and trailers.

You will inspect equipment, answer questions, educate customers, and handle rental invoicing and returns. On-the-job training is provided, with paid hands-on interviews and bonuses for hiring and certification through U-Haul programs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
