At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Customer Service Logistics Coordinator, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history. Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges—cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life‑saving technologies—by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.

The role:

• Planning and processing outbound shipments from the United States, ensuring all documentation and quotations meet regulatory and trade compliance requirements.
• Coordinating order‑to‑shipment execution, including shipment scheduling and alignment with customer delivery requirements.
• Reviewing demand variances and ensuring accurate demand signals are reflected in ERP/MRP systems.
• Partnering with Planning, Quality, Warehouse, Project Management and Commercial teams to support customer commitments.
• Monitoring on‑time delivery performance, analysing delays, identifying root causes and escalating risks where required.
• Acting as a logistics advisor on customs, incoterms and route changes, ensuring compliant outbound finished goods movements.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations with working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Understanding of import/export regulations, customs processes and global trade compliance.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a customer‑focused approach.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate across functions.
