Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time customer service representative in Orem, UT. You will support the sales team and customers, handling inquiries, quotes, order processing, and parts sourcing, onsite at the service center.

The role requires 6+ months in customer service or inside sales, attention to detail, and basic computer skills including Excel. Work hours are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Join a team with a strong culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service or inside sales experience.
• Industrial distribution or parts counter background is a plus.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, multitasking ability.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

We are hiring a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) in Orem, UT. In this role, you will provide professional and timely support to our sales team and customers. This position is onsite at our service center, part of a great team. Hours are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting / returns
• Sourcing parts
• Assist in generating sales

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service or inside sales. Industrial distribution or parts counter environment a plus
• Hydraulic, bearings, or power transmission knowledge preferred
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills including Excel
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)
• This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
