Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a full-time customer service representative to work on site in LA/Commerce, CA. In this role you will support the sales team and customers with inquiries, quotes, orders, and parts sourcing, helping build lasting business relationships.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, offering a strong work-life balance and bonus opportunities tied to performance. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• 1+ year customer service or inside sales experience preferred
• Mechanical or maintenance experience helpful
• Strong written and verbal communication in English

We are hiring a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) to work on site in L.A. / Commerce, CA. In this role, you will provide professional and timely support to our sales team and customers. The typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $24.00 - 28.00/hr depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunity is tied to location and individual performance and has averaged $250 - 500 per month. No specific amount is guaranteed.

What you'll do:

In our fast-paced team environment, you will partner with our customers and Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.

• Customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting / returns
• Sourcing parts
• Assist in generating sales
• Help in the stockroom as needed, deliver orders to customers as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year customer service or inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience. Industrial distribution or parts counter environment preferred
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Computer knowledge including Excel. SAP/ERP experience a plus
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)

• This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
